"Flower Cards" Project

Choose good-quality blank cards in various colors from stationers. Card is often a firm background and adhesive is hard to penetrate, but the adhesive must be used sparingly. After you apply adhesive to the petal, press the pedal onto the card with a finger gently. Apply a slight pressure with your finger on the surface of the petal to make certain the flower is secured

Don't put too much adhesive. Otherwise when you are pressing the flower onto the card, the adhesive will ooze out onto the petal and the card. when the adhesive dried, the place around the flowers will become shiny and dirty. Also pay attention to the stems. They are hard to fix in some cases.

Just like other craft projects related to pressed flowers, the quality of your design will determine whether your project will be a success or not. If you don't spend enough time on preparing the design before you really start to put your hands on it, you will be wasting your time and material. First thing first look through what material you have for this project. Put your pressed flowers beside you. Use a pen to draw some draft. After you decide which flower, leave or grass you want to use, put the rest back to the storage place. Be careful not to let any of them be wafted onto the floor.
